Battle Flag of Company K, 3rd Louisiana Infantry (Pelican Rifles). From the collection of the Confederate Museum in New Orleans. The 3rd fought at Wilson's Creek, Elkhorn tavern, Iuka, Corinth, and Vicksburg, where this flag was captured. The flag's field is dark blue, the wreath is gold, the ribbon above the wreath is sky blue, and all lettering is white, as is the ribbon at the botom of the wreath.
