A notice was received from the Mt. Vernon Gamer's Association that a convention called Colonial City Gamefest VI will be held July 9 and 10, 1988 at the Memorial Building in Mt. Vernon, Ohio. While no mention of specific ACW games was made in the announcement sheet, it can be assumed that such will take place. Admission is $2.00 per day or $3.50 pre-registration for both days. There will be a few different ACW events at Little Wars during the last weekend in April (3 day convention) at Parkside College in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Gen-Con Origins, held the third weekend in August (a 4 day event) at the Mecca Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin will have several ACW games, covering different rules sets. We are aware that the 3rd Annual Johnny Reb Open, plus two additional JR games will be available for participation. Dean West will be hosting the JR events.
