First and foremost – thanks so much to everyone for their patience during our moving the boards to the new location. It is much appreciated. If you are having problems logging in, please let me know at johnbhood@windsofvalor.com and we will correct the problem for you post haste! The move is complete, and you should have already received an email recently with an encrypted link to activate your account. If you have not activated it, please do so. I also have completed transferring the ranks gained over to your current profile, but if there is a problem with it, again, let me know. The boards can be reached either through the Home Page at www.windsofvalor.com or directly at www.windsofvalor.com/mainboard1/ This new board format is easier to read and peruse, with a feature to add your own poll, lots of new active smiley faces to make your point with, and we consolidated some of the former sections to make it easier and simpler to navigate, and know where to post. We are also pleased to announce that we have added in a "For the Children" section to allow our respective children a place to ask questions or share information. Winds of Valor is all about Preservation and Education, and if we neglect our greatest resource, our children, then there would be no one to pass on our American Heritage to. So, if you have young children or grandchildren who share this interest, take some time with them and visit the boards and web site together. Help them post a question for their homework or just curiosity and pass on our heritage for generations to come! We are COPPA compliant, even though we don't have to be, and the Rules and COPPA instructions have been posted on the new section. Basically, we ask for a letter from the parents of anyone aged 13 and under who wish to be a registered member, and will be insuring that all Federal regulations and requirements are met. We will be debuting a special Winds of Valor Children's site shortly, so stay tuned. Thanks again and see you at the boards! Back to Table of Contents -- Winds of Valor Newsletter vol.
