Winds of Valor is pleased to announce the completion of its Compendium Civil War Events Calendar and release to the general public located at http://johnbhood.eventsherpa.com/homepage.php . The Project includes all events concerning the Civil War for the Year 2004, featuring: Battlefield Preservation events and activities All of the year's schedule of Reenactments, both locally and nationally Calendar specific to Gettysburg National Military Park and area events Seminars, lectures, and Field Excursions Civil War Heritage Foundation Events Schedule And, of course, the schedule for Winds of Valor sponsored events The project was created to consolidate all Civil War related events into one viewing location for ease of locating and participating in local, area, or nationwide programs or events. Future plans include contacting area Civil War Round Tables, SUV, SCV, UDC, and similar organizations in order to obtain and publish their schedules as well.
