I often wonder if anybody reads the editorials. I mean after all what is here that deals with the gaming industry. I can only hope at least one person other than myself reads this. Then of course comes the hardest part of putting White Knight together, which is what do I say or write about. Thus most of the time I just have a blinking cursor looking like a black dot on a white screen. So instead of sitting trying to think of what to write, I usually end up on the internet reading the press releases. This month really has something that caught my eye. Hey wait and finish reading this before jumping ahead, after all I took the time to write this at least you could have the decency to read it. Ok if you find this boring, come back later and read it, after all the editorial won't be going anywhere except maybe the trash after you're finished with this issue. Well I hope you came back to finish reading the editorial, if not then you may miss the interesting items that I have come up with for White Knight. First, I've made a classified section. Sure it's rather small right now, but it's a good way of putting small ads together without putting them throughout the magazine, or trying to make them fill out an entire page. If you're interested in placing a classified ad please contact me. I don't want to take up space with the boring details but I think the classifieds will be an improvement in White Knight. Second, is the announcement that finally after two years of being a solo editor, I have a part time assistant. It took a lot of asking, but when she traded help on White Knight for help around the house, it was an offer I could not resist. The assistant I'm referring to is of course my wife. Who after two years of watching me do most of the work on White Knight came up with the deal which benefits both. Third, and some readers already know of this: a contest. This contest is basically, for the readers, writers and authors of this little publication. Basically, the contest is for those who wish to enter, is to recruit new subscribas, writas and artist. I of course am not eligible since it wouldn't make any sense for me to enter my own contest. I put together the rules, entry forms and information in this issue. So if you didn't read this, then you might not have a clue as to what it's for. Last, but no means least, I'd lilce to welcome the following folks to the staff: D. Gene Frye, Terry Mesnard, Drew MacDonald and Edward J. Elsner. A rather happy note from the CEO of Unicorn Pegasus: Saturday, February 21, 1998, we adopted a German Shepherd mixed puppy named Elsa. While she can not fill the loss of Buddy she is doing her best to bring us as much happiness as possible.
