No I don't mean the country western singer, but the rather slim articles for this issue. As stated in previous issues White Knight is struggling to stay afloat. Not so much financially but lack of submissions. This issue is going out to every artists and author who has sent or previously sent in material to White Knight. Folks I need your articles and artwork to continue producing this amateur magazine. I realize that I don't pay folks for what they submit, I really wish I could. In all honesty, I barely have funds available to mail it out. It has often been said that change is good. I don't know who originally said that, but to whomever they are they obviously never owned a struggling business. In my case a struggling magazine which by some of my own fault has started to wither. In an d1m high tech and big budgets, none of which I possess, White Knight and the company I have founded, finds itself to be an example of the fickle industry of gaming. I cannot afford a website, which I'm sure definitely hurts a budding company. I don't have a staff that gets paid so I can certainly understand why submissions have been down over the past couple of months. I mean who wants to write an article for a magazine that does not, and probably will not be able to pay you for your article or artwork. And without the means to purchase advertising, well let just say, if you don't blow your own horn, nobody else will. Though with White Knight, I don't think anybody is listening. I should of see the writing on the wall but my suspicions were confirmed by limited number of questionnaires that were returned. I did not keep a count as to how many were sent out, but the number of returns were easily counted on one hand. So much for future plans and issues. I'll do my best to finish out the subscriptions which the shrinking database will end around issue 18. I had hoped that White Knight would be something different than the more notable and highly recognized gaming magazines but looks like I've ran this horse a bit too long and a bit too hard.
