R.J.Clifford finds Mr.Cook's problem easy to solve compared with his own which is in the same area but sixty years early. His study of the armies of the War of the Austrian Succession has drawn an almost total blank when it comes to the Colours carried by the German States. The Bavarians seem likely to have carried some kind of white flag with a blue lozenge pattern, but other than that he is lost. Can anyone come to his assistance? Saxony and Bavaria are his particular interests.
