These magazines contain line items of specific interest to wargamers.

AIRFIX Magazine - September 1975 - Scratch-building Matilda M1 I tank in 1:35 scale; plus reviews of latest figures, books, etc.

ARQUEBUSIER - July/August 1975 - This journal of the Pike and Shot Society contains articles on The Janissaries; The Battle of Ceresole as a Wargame; Some Parliamentary Standards; Wargaming the English Civil War plus other features.

ARTICLES OF WAR - Official Broadsheet of the Solent Wargames Society - Vol 2 Nos 1 and 2 - Irticles on Middle Earth Wargaming; Asiatic Wargames; Painting Tips; Battle Report; Rules for Wargaming iAsiatic Wargames Part 2.

BATTLEFLEET - Magazine of the Naval Wargames Society - The Myth of the Daylight Naval Battle in World War II; Tactics in the Napoleonic Era and Before plus other features,

Journal of the CLUB FRANCAISE DE LA FIGURINE HISTORIQUE - June 1975 - The French Army 1635-1648 '(illustrated uniforms and flags); Malplaquet; Napoleon's Gardes d'Honneur de Lorient 1808; Making a 75mm gun model 1897.

GUIDON - No.1 - This quarterly journal of the Miniature Figure Collectors of America contains an article on Paris for the Figure Collector; Preparing and Painting Military Miniatures; plus reviews of new figures, books, etc.

MILITARY MODELLING - September 1975 - This is a special American War of Independence Bi-Centenary issue and as such is of great value to the wargamer interested in this period. In addition to the usual well illustrated features reviewing the latest figures, kits, books, models, etc., etc., there are articles on a Re-fought Battle of Waterloo; and numerous articles with many coloured illustrations on formations, uniforms and weapons of the American Revolution.

NORSEMAN - August 1975 - This magazine of the Northern Association of Wargamers contains details of a Fantasy Wargame Campaign plus military historical articles, news of latest books, figures, etc.

THE SPARTAN SIMULATION GAMING JOURNAL - No.8 - An American magazine with much on Naval wargaming plus an article "House-to-House" which deals with World War II infantry combat simulation.

SWORD AND LANCE - No.9 - Contains a Wargames Parable; A North West Frontier Skirmish plus other articles on military subjects, reviews of figures, books, boardgames, etc.

THE VEDETTE - Summer 1975 - The Journal of the National Capital Military Collectors of America - contains numerous military articles (much on the American Revolution) plus lengthy figure reviews etc.

NOTE: The articles and features actually named above are those which, in the Editor's opinion, specifically concern wargaming. Each and every one of the magazines reviewed also contains other articles of a military nature but bear only a "fringe" wargaming connection, although many of them will undoubtedly be of use in authentically forming and equipping wargames armies.
