I have not as yet been able to play either of your releases, but I would like to comment that they appear outstanding. My best gaming buddy and I are playing a lot of Varsity Gridiron, a college football game that is heavily statistically driven. He has three children under 10 and I have one under 5, so our gaming time averages about 3 hours a month. I am hoping to get a game room established soon that would be very secure as we also have a cat!

Anyway, how about some unit-history games, i.e., the battles of "such and such" division. Anything that plays in one "short" night is currently best for me. I have been gaming since the early Avalon Hill days (Gettysburg, Stalingrad, U Boat) and hope to spend more time gaming again "sometime. "

1806

I have just bought your new game '1806' it appears excellent. I'd like to see more in the same series please, also English Civil War battles, something medieval or ancient, I would particularly like someone to do a squad leader type game that had up to date graphics and simple rule mechanics that perhaps returns to the spirit of the original and now considered 'basic' squad leader game. It's a pity that AH never did a 'cap- tains version'to combine the best of the old and new.

I am really pleased with' 1806', it looks like a good collectable item that has been designed to be played as well as admired. I am usually put-off by two-map games, but this can be played in a reasonable time. My own preferences are large hexes, high solitaire, battles (rather than operational), low/medium complexity and completion time within 5 hours tops. I was unsure about buying 1806 at first, but was sold by the artwork and felt it was worth taking a risk; in future, I shall have no hesitation-the only thing I would like to see improved is the rule booklet, not its content, but rather its presentation, it is better than the one in Six Days of Glory, but short of the standard reached in 'Dresden' by New England Simulations, which would have made this package 'outstanding.'

I can imagine how much hard work goes into such a production and I hope OSG will keep on producing such games. I hope the news of a peninsular game being produced is true. Probably like many wargamers, I have changed my habits from buying every game released, to becoming very selective in purchases. I am now looking for quality, low errata, playable games. As a direct result of 1806, I intend to go and buy 6 Days of Glory and Leipzig from Clash of Arms.

Once again, congratulations on a superb game, I wish OSG every success in the future.
