French Discussion

Waterloo '99

by Charley Elsden

Hello Kevin, Robert, and Gary. Your job in putting together the right team is in many respects similar to that of Napoleon in 1815. So the more you all use this link to introduce yourselves to each other, the better chance you have of getting some "team" dynamics going. Once you're down in New Jersey, you'll only have one meeting together before you get started! So again I encourage you to talk to each other before that time. At Gettysburg '99 we began to discuss strategic options together as Confederates on our net, (after the GM had given us more info to chew on than you have so far).

I know that as modest gamers we don't usually start off by talking about ouselves too much. But forget about that and write away! Even though you've got 17 more slots to fill, some will only be taken at the last minute. So use the folks you get earlier to dialogue among yourselves about Napoleonic strategy, tactics, etc. Above all, start working on a plan...

Prussians Go On Maneuvers

The Prussian Army has not only taken the field, but is now practicing as a gaming team on maneuvers! This will obviously give them practice on the rules and, for those who participate, a sense of each other as a team!
