In one of the greatest "what-if's" in history, Napoleon sends a 35,000 man army under General LeClerc (along with his wife Pauline Bonaparte, sister of the Emperor) to suppress the slave rebellion on Haiti under Toussaint Louverture the "Black Napoleon." They sail in 86 ships and include Polish, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Flemish, and French soldiers. Soon caught up in a barbaric civil and racial war, they are defeated by the largest, and only successful slave revolt in history! Their next planned destination after defeating the Haitians: New Orleans, Louisiana, a base from which to conquer Central and South America for the First Consul.
