Raid on the UK

On the First of October, 1997 Captain Pete Panzeri invaded England, giving presentations at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, to Reed International Books, London, and appear as "Guest Yank" at the Old Glory [Historical] Convention at Derby Convention in Derby -- ALL IN THREE DAYS!

Pete presented "A Revolution in Our Midst: Gulf War Perspectives and the Military Revolution Process" to the Faculty at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, as guest of Dr. Duncan Anderson, Deputy Head, Department of War Studies. The paper was developed at The Ohio State University under the direction of Dr. J. F. Guilmartin. Panzeri first lectured at Sandhurst in 1991, at the invitation of Dr. David Chandler.

Enroute to the convention in Derby, Panzeri stopped in London, for a meeting with the Editor of Reed International Books. He presented the draft of his current book, entitled: Ghazlani: Desert Storm Climax, and was also asked to write a sequel to Little Big Horn 1876. The sequel will be entitled The Rosebud 1876, due in 1998.

On 4 October, Panzeri was a Guest of Honor at the Old Glory Convention in Derby, presenting "The Tactical Battle of the Little Big Horn." His photo and bio were featured in several UK newspapers, He was also interviewed by the BBC. Old Glory Inc. (a US/UK Historical wargame producer) sponsored the trip, making the Sandhurst visit possible.
