See below the ACW Round Table wanting to give funding money to groups conducting ACW "Educational" activity. This "educational funding" could be money used as either full funding or "event seed money" for things like: 1. "ACW SEMINAR" (in hotel or empty Mall storefront) Would include ACW games as a display-piece, add a Reenactor or two, a speaker or two on the ACW, and you are rolling! 2. PUBLIC ACW PRESENTATION: This could be under canopy at any outdoor event, especially a historical one. For example the HUGE Scottish fests around the country would call for a demo-tent on "Scottish Units of the American Civil War" (both sides). I know we can get an ACW Reenactor at any place in the USA. 3. "PORTABLE" ACW GAME DAY: All the ACW gamers come to an ACW battlefield, school or public site, and run several demo and participation games for the public and even local gamer-wanna-bees. Funds could pay for things like space rental, flyer and poster printing, table, chair, tent rental, Mall Store-front space, ACW guest speakers (if you do an "ACW Seminar") and possible local advertisements etc. (but these should be public service announcement requests). See below on the POC that ACW Round Table funding. Meanwhile I'll keep you all posted to other such ACW groups in your area. Grants from the St Louis Civil War Round Table
