    Cyberpunk 3rd Edition is Coming

That's right. The rumors aro true. Look for a third edition of RTG's flagship RPG to come out this September. Here's what you ean look forward to:

The timeline will be advancing by around 7~10 years or so. After the Fourth Corporate War (as detailed in the 2 Firestorm books), there's a lot of new background for RTG to fill in. The future will be somewhat weirder than you're used to: more post- modern rather than post-apocalyptic. The Cyberpunk genre has changed since the game first came out, and RTG plans to stay current to what Cyberpunk has come to mean.

Cyberpunk v3 will be FUZION powered just like Bubblegum Crisis, Champions: The New Millennium, and VOTOMS. But don't worry, just as RTG did in Champions, they'll include conversion rules so that you can keep right on using all your old books. Furthermore, since all of the games will be compatible, you'll be able to mix and match as you see fit.

In addition to FUZION, you'll get a whole new netrunning system. Netrunning will be faster and smoother than ever before, and the Net will reflect the fact that EVERYONE is part of it, even if a few know how to tweak it better than others.
