Twistercon Events Continued

Twistercon will be held at Tradewinds/Best western Hotel, 1800 East Reno (off I-40E) Oklahoma City, OK 73117. (405)235-4531, Fax: (405)235-1861. Rates $47.32 all rooms (1-4 occupants) Entry Fee is $20 for the whole convention, or $10 for one day. Hotel reservation cut-off is March 8th, rooms will be subject to availability after that. Convention Hours are:

Friday March 19th, 1:00pm - 12:00midnight
Saturday March 20th, 8:00am - 1:00am
Sunday March 21st, 8:00am - 12:00noon

Friday Sessions: 2 pm - 6 pm & 7pm - 12am
Saturday Sessions: 8am - 12pm, 1pm - 5pm, Auction/dinner Break : 6-8pm, & 8pm - 1am
Sunday: 8am - Noon

EVENTS: The con will include all eras of Historical miniature games, and Non-Historical miniature games. There will be DBM, Axis & Allies, and Warhammer tournaments.

"Close Action Ships", Jeff Hunt of Portsmouth Miniatures hosts this fine 1-1200 scale battle.

"Firelocks On the Frontier" New game-Lexington and Concord, AWI 25mm, using Fire and Fury rules, GM Cal Kinzer.

"Frogs and Dogs" , Hypothetical Napoleonic Parody, Flintioque rules (15mm) , GM Craig Farrow.

"El Caney", Spanish American War, (Cuba) 25mm Rough Riders - GM - Richard Houston.

"Cross of Iron" & "Here There Be Monsters" , Two scenarios using Battle Cards rules as a playtest for WW-II Russian Front, 15mm, man to man combat. Hosted by Steve Schrader.

"Non Stop Armani", The crazy people from New Mexico will run this event all day Saturday, GMs Don Wolfe and Ron Burton.

"Fuente Del Noro - Fight for the Town", Shako Napoleonic rules version in 25mm, GM Lloyd Eaker.

CRAIG DOBBINS MEMORIAL 15mm DBM TOURNAMENT

Basic Guide lines Twistercon DBM Tourament
a) 2 Lists - 400 points same army/same year (example using LIR, Western Roman @ 360 AD), commands predivides at start of Tourney
b) Rules: DBM 2.1
c) Matches 3.5 hours enforced for all rounds, including finals.
d) Matchups are by Win/Loss, Points, Year of Army.

9:00am Start times both days.

Three Basic rounds (Saturday) 9:00am, 1:30pm, 6:00pm : One Final Round (Sunday) 9:00am
