The Infamous Sioux War Chief
was Killed at the Battle of Greasy Grass

Eye Witness Account

Colonel Custer and 200 Brave Troopers of the 7th Cavalry rode in search of hostile savages. Custer's Courageous Scouts Spotted the Cowardly Sioux along the Little Big Horn at Greasy Grass. Knowing that they would be helpless without their stolen horse herd, the Colonel prepared to attack and capture the herd, which would hold the Sioux in place until General Terry could come up and dispatch them. Assigning the Dashing Captain Keogh the honor of protecting their line of retreat, Colonel Custer prepared to capture the stolen horse herd.

Suddenly Captain Keogh's Command was attacked by savages. Captain Keogh though sorely outnumbered fought a valiant effort to the bloody end, even though the Dashing Captain gave his life the attacking savages were dispatched to the last evil soul. Meanwhile Colonel Custer attacked those guarding the stolen herd. But the wily Sioux hid in the bushes along the river and caught the brave cavalry men in ambush. Throwing back their attack on the the horse herd. But not before, to everyone's surprise, Custer cornered and killed the cowardly Sioux War Chief Crazy Horse. Sitting Bull and the Sioux retaliated by attacking in mass immediately and slaughtering to nearly the last man the Valiant Colonel Custer and the brave 7th Cavalry. Though outnumbered by 200 to one, the 7th fought a valiant last stand. I and my brother barely escaped by riding out onto the plains.
