Although done on a wing and prayer due to the day, this was pretty much a success in gaming terms. Stuart unfortunately didn’t win and had bad luck. He was not last although Kenny spawned the usual victory with Bob in second place. Each player had about 12 planes a mix of bombers, dive bombers, torpedo bombers and fighters, and each player was allowed to bring in five waves of planes. We used the ‘Battlefleet Gothic‘ rules with a few modifications. Bob and Stuart both knew ‘Battlefleet Gothic,‘ so the rule system allowed quick modifications. The highest score 85 points the lowest score 45 points. I did not tell the players how hits were scored.
