Wargaming in a Jungle arena, has long put us of wargaming actions in the Far East. I put forward the proposed rules as follows; Dense jungle D6 movement penalty for infantry. Only infantry can enter. A fine rule, as I think you can only get infantry physically into this terrain feature. Infantry means no vehicles (not sure about mules and bicycles though would guess could be carried. ) Light jungle half move infantry, d6 penalty tracked vehicles, no move wheeled vehicles which should stick to roads or open ground. Not a great deal of tarmac or concrete in this theatre. Even if rubber may be plentiful. Gullies/dried streams possible penalty to cross mainly an extra tracked vehicle obstacle. At the present we do not have any so thoughts welcome. Visibility Dense jungle 3" standard woods. Open jungle should it be the same or slightly longer distance say 6". Rules should be simple and easy to play so we get a game out of it. Preferably we wish to avoid mass dice rolling for movement. Shaun is looking at something for the campaign, but I also want to see some general jungle rules that could be used in other RF games or just other games.
