These are issues / amendments to be put forward by club members for this issue ; We should get together with a full list and decide which ones to use. I notice that no one has yet attempted to amend the armour points values - I know why. If you look at the armour values, they are in proportion and as armour values quite correct. If you look at the gun values - they are once again in proportion and quite correct to the damage they cause. If we had tanks without guns or guns without tanks then the rules would work fine.] Unfortunately mounting guns on the armour (or with the some German vehicles, the tank on the gun) gives a different result - survivability and the ability to damage need to be combined. I admit this has taxed what is left of my brain to the point of failure. There is no simple way of combining the gun and tank value that works across all COMPARATIVE combinations, e.g. what seems to work for a Sherman/King Tiger comparison does not work for say a King Tiger/Challenger combination - both give significantly different comparative values. This of course does not mean that a really smart cookie could come up with a comparative formula which works across all cases.
