Lord Worthington of Bratwater announced today that the excess whale oil gathered by his communities' whaling ships will be sold to the Merchants' Guild. This decision was made after three weeks of negotiations with more than five potential buyers from surrounding regions. After signing the contract, the barrels of oil were gathered by the Guild representatives and hauled away. Little is known of the contracts, though rumors are circulating that kickbacks and bribes heavily influenced the Lord's decision.
