The Armchair General is not Dead! It is alive and well. You will recall it mentioned that your editor, staggering under the burdens of putting together, publishing, distributing, and keeping accounts for T.A.G. was looking for somebody to unload the work on? Well, not only did I find somebody willing to take over, but I cleverly let him practice on Volume II, No. 8. Admittedly this issue lacks some of the folksy charm of good old sloppy T.A.G. Worse, the new managing editor has threatened to put an end to some our exciting business practices, like losing subscription letters. Gone as well will be the suspense filled months of wondering when, if ever, the next issue will come out. No longer will wargames, meeting one another after returning from college, Vietnam, or other trouble spots be able to strike up a conversation by asking "Has the Armchair General really gone out of business?". No we are here! VIVA T.A.G.!
