This particular issue, for better or worse, is crammed with wargame rules. To some, who superstitiously believe that the editor has a firm hand in determining the contents of each issue, this may lead to speculation about a change in "format," "editorial policy" or whatever. Actually, it's just a case of what is on hand that looks interesting and fills the right number of pages. On the other hand, several interesting features (not a few of which I have been trying to invent) have come up in the various rules, and even though no particular set of rules in ever going to please everyone, we are interested in reader reactions, as well as word on how these rules work out. As editor, I am especially naive on these particular sets of rules because I haven't played a game with any of them.
