STEVEN METZ is Associate Research Professor of National Security Affairs at the Strategic Studies institute, U.S. Army War College. Dr. Metz has taught at the Air War College, the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, and several universities. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in international studies from the University of South Carolina, and a Ph.D. in political science from the Johns Hopkins University.
