The premise of our scenario was that the Orks had successfully raided the Eldar in the Helsreach Sector of Armageddon. Their plunder had included the capture of two Eldar cruisers. How humiliating for the Eldar! The furious Eldar commander wanted revenge and he decided to dupe the Chaos and Imperials into doing is dirty work. The Eldar made sure the Chaos and Imperials knew about the Orks successful raid, and the location of their base in the asteroids. Neither Commander wanted the give the Orks time to master the powerful Eldar ships. Both dispatched four cruisers with orders to destroy or capture the Eldar cruisers. The stage was set for a three-way battle. In our first game both Eldar cruisers were destroyed. The more aggressive and successful Chaos commanders were declared the victors of this engagement. One of the Chaos commanders returned to play in the second game, this time in command of an Ork battlegroup. He was successful in defending his prize and escaping the area.
