Superior Models at the
Lowest Prices Possible

by Charlie Keller

That's the motto of Heiser's Models. Our hobby has become very expensive. Once upon a time you could find a good deal. I would like to report that at Historicon I found a vendor that gives good deals all the time. Heiser's Models deal in vehicles from 1930 to 1950. Their scale is 1/87. They have a regular line of vehicles which sell for $5-7 bucks each but the bargains can be found in a line the call "Mixed Seconds."

These are vehicles that are not up to standards (an air bubble or misshaped part). They are sold in "wargamer packs." John found 5 Pershings for $30 and 6 250/1 for $20.I found 10 White Scout Cars for $20. All the models we bought were very good quality. Their e-mail is heisermodels@earthlink.net and their phone number is 562-860-1362.
