New Newsletter Starting in May the newsletter will have a great new look and a name - the "Volunteer." Ray Lopez has been working on a new layout that I'm sure you'll like. As always, we are looking for articles for the newsletter. If you have a battle report or game review or anything else please send it to Matt. June Game Day Phil has located a new hall for us at 1311 S. Main St. (AKA Shore Rd.), Pleasantville. The cost to rent the hall is a lot less than the Optimists Club. However the owners (The Pleasantville Presbyterian Church) don't allow smoking. If everything goes well we may be able to alternate between this hall and the Optimists Club and pass the savings along to the members. Stay tuned for directions and a game day lineup. Treasurer's Report Right now club funds are only spent on two things: renting the hall for game days and mailing the newsletter. The club treasury currently has $ . Please remember that this year's club dues should be paid in full by the May game day. He's Gone, Jim Jim Woods, long time South Jersey gamer, has moved to Florida. If you would like to contact him his email is: jwoodsjr@bellsouth.net Cold Wars Report Many South Jersey gamers made the trip to Lancaster for this year's Cold Wars Convention. The South Jersey contingent included Matt, Eric, John, Charlie, Phil, Ted, Caesar, Jamie Pruszinski, and Doug Gallagher. The most popular games and products were Valmy to Waterloo, Warhammer 40K, Gothic, and Battleground WWII. Phil brought his family along and reports that they had a great time. Most of the rest of us were staying at the Congress Inn (thanks John).
