Cold Wars Reports Wanted

If you attend Cold Wars please send us a report for the next newsletter. Any battle report or game review would be welcome. SJCW will be running a Tankers Challenge game at the convention. Contact Matt or Charlie if you would like to help.

New Game Day Site!

Phil Willows has secured permission for us to hold some events at his church hall. This will make for a shorter drive for many of our members. We hope to hold a game day there on June 12. More information will be in the next newsletter.

Treasurer's Report

We have $274.35 in the treasury. A Note to the members - dues should be paid by the May game day.

ATAK Challenge Game

The battleground WWII challenge game has been tentatively set for May 15. If you are interested in joining the SJCW team contact Matt.

The game will be at the Gamer's Realm in East Windsor. ATAK Miniatures will supply the scenario, referees, terrain, miniatures (15mm obviously) and prizes. Neither side will have any knowledge of the scenario before the game date. This event may or may not have timed turns. No member of ATAK Miniatures will take part in the game. ATAK Miniatures will provide a $50.00 gift certificate to the winning side and a $20.00 gift certificate to the MVP on each side. If there is any doubt as to the winner of the scenario, the decision of the referees will be final. Each side will elect its MVP. Stop by and say "Hi" to Annie and Keith at Cold Wars. They will be running some unscheduled Battleground games. If you'd like to play just ask them.
