Tanker's Challenge

Battle Report

by Matt Fritz

It was a wild, no-holds-barred battle for armored supremacy as everyone vied to be the top tanker ace. It was a close battle and wasn't decided until the last turn. In the end the German team won with a score of 14 kills and 827 points. The allies (Russian and US) registered 13 kills and 790 points.

There were many tense encounters thanks to the random entrance rule. Often a tanker found himself surrounded and being fired on from three or more directions in the same turn. The greatest reversal of fortune was inflicted on Bill B., who started one turn in a King Tiger and started the next in an armored car.

The overall winner was Jim who managed 6 kills for 278 points. The top German tanker was Charlie (4 kills for 258 points) who narrowly beat out Bill Harkins. The Tiger Tamer award goes to Paul for killing Bill B.'s King Tiger which was terrorizing the allies. The Bully award goes to Ceasar for averaging just 44 points on his 4 kills. Way to pick on those armored cars!
