There are our good friends Karin (l) and HARTMUT GÜNTHER (6228-2000) (r) at their shooting club in Germany, where HARTMUT was ‘crowned’ Shooting King of the Club. In 2003, HARRY COOPER (1-LIFE-1983) spent some days with these friends with their organization translated as a ‘Friendship Circle’ for German U-Boat history. These guys are GREAT shots! When HARRY was in the service, he qualified Sharpshooter or Expert in all the small arms of the USAF both right AND left handed – but in the competition he entered with these guys, he didn’t do so well. He blames his advancing years… It was a great time – AND when our Sharkhunters go over for our 2004 “Patrol in North Germany”, we will be guests of this group for two days of special visits.
