126th to be decorated with this medal was Stabsobermaschinist Heinrich Dammeier who was Dieselobermaschinist on U-170. The award was made 12 August 1944.

127th was Hans-Günther Lange, Skipper of U-711. The award was made 26 August 1944.

128th was Heinrich Timm, Skipper of U-862 and U-251. The award was made 17 September 1944.

129th was Oberleutnant zur See Gerd Schaar, Skipper of U-957. The award was made 1 October 1944.

130th was Oberleutnant zur See Hans-Joachim Förster, Skipper of U-480. The award was made 18 October 1944.

131st was Kapitänleutnant PAUL BRASACK (5940-1999), Skipper of U-737. The award was made 31 October 1944.

More Ritterkreuzträger next month in KTB #178. In German, a “Ritter” is a rider, a mounted knight. “Kreuz” is a cross. “Träger” is one who holds or carries. Thus, a Ritterkreuzträger is one who holds or carries the Knights Cross. Thought you should know this information.
