New Places, New People We’ll give you a little information about our upcoming “Patrol” in north Germany with Berlin and Poland. In 2003, we spent four days in Berlin – our 2004 “Patrol” will have us in that beautiful city fir five days. We have been invited to spend two of our days in north Germany with the Freundeskreis U-995. This is a very special group of regular German citizens who think that their country must keep the history of the German Wehrmacht veterans of WW II alive and honest. They will be spending two days in special museums, which we did not know, and we are invited to be with them. There are usually a couple hundred people – young Germans who keep their history alive, veterans of the U-Boat war as well as men who currently serve in the U-Bootwaffe of the Bundsmarine and the German Merchant Marine. This is indeed, a rare opportunity. We urge you to get your reservations in now to avoid being disappointed later. Remember – we can take only 40, and we are already about 30% booked. Don’t let this fantastic opportunity slip past you. We have added new attractions to our “Patrol” in south Germany and Austria, including a stop in Monfalcone, Italy to visit the giant shipyards that once produced the big Italian submarines of WW II. And of course, we have been invited to spend an evening with the special veterans in Austria and this is a first! They have never before invited a group of outsiders into their annual convention. Book now – or be disappointed later. BBC Praise The BBC considers SHARKHUNTERS to be:
