Known as the “Drumbeater” because he was on station off the American coast first during Operation ‘Drumbeat’ and he is the only ‘Drumbeat” Skipper still living. At age 90, he is still in great physical shape and is known to enjoy a round of golf now and then. (photo at right)

30th BUD DANA (245-A/LIFE-1987) Videographer and probably the world’s foremost expert on the tunnels and bunkers built by Germany in World War II.
