Lawsuit Dot.Not

U-Boat Photos

by Harry Cooper

We reported some months ago that the laughable website known as ‘DOT.NOT’ by serious researchers, was being investigated by various lawyers over possible plagiarism of photographs, text and other intellectual properties. Apparently this has blossomed, as there were four or five dozen frantic messages on the forum of that site, all trying to defend against claims by certain lawyers intending to bring suit because certain photos of a U-Boat Skipper were on the website that allegedly belonged to someone else. In spite of all the protestations that it is okay to take photos off other websites, the attorneys didn’t see it that way and DOT.NOT was forced to remove the photos with an apology.

It was comical reading the comments on the forum on why it was okay to take someone else’s photos and put them on their own web page. There was even one posting praising the ‘faithful’ calling them “Gummi’s Angels”. Sounds like a gay biker gang!
