Eternal Patrol Once again, the envelope and front page of our KTB Magazine has the sad information of another veteran of the War at Sea beginning his ‘Eternal Patrol’ but this month, there are two. Both men were Members of SHARKHUNTERS and both men were friends. This is just the same as losing family members. God speed, and we wish you fair winds and following seas. Sense? Last month, in KTB #167, we told why we offer many rare and important items for sale to our Members. I had hoped that it would make sense – but apparently at least one Member did not get it. A Member, who we will not name for obvious reasons, called to tell us that he was dropping his Membership because we offered too many things to Members – and then he placed an order for many items in our catalog! Sometimes common sense – isn’t. I have been reminded by some of the U-Bootfahrer in Membership that it is indeed necessary to offer these items not only to help keep SHARKHUNTERS alive and growing, but more to the point – to keep the history of the U-Bootwaffe alive through dissemination of these historic items.
