56th was Kapitänleutnant Heinz-Otto Schultze, C.O. of U-432. The award was made 9 July 1942.
57th was Kapitänleutnant GEORG LASSEN (186-LIFE-1986), Skipper of U-160. The award was made 10 August. He went on to earn the Oak Leaf as well. Captain LASSEN is very helpful with his hand-signed photographs (at right) for Sharkhunters, and we thank him very much for that.
58th was Kapitänleutnant Helmut Rosenbaum, Skipper of U-2 and U-73. The award was made 12 August 1942.
59th was Kapitänleutnant Adolf Piening, Skipper of U-155. The award was made 13 August 1942.
60th was Kapitänleutnant Heinrich Schonder, Skipper of U-77 and U-58. The award was made 19 August 1942
