RITTERKREUZ Knights Cross

RITTERKREUZTRÄGER Soldier who was awarded the Knights Cross

ROHR The word means just ‘pipe’, so the seerohr was the periscope, torpedorohr was the torpedo tube.

ROTTERDAM APPARATUS German name for a British short wave radar found in the wreckage of a British plane shot down over Holland.
