2172-+-1992 Count ALFRED deMARIGNY US ‘Freddy’ was an international playboy, prominent in the Nassau (Bahamas) social circles. He married the daughter of Sir Harry Oakes and subsequently was charged with the vicious murder of Sir Harry. Freddy was acquitted and the murder never solved, although several people who tried to investigate it on their own were also murdered in Nassau. Did Freddy kill Sir Harry? The world will probably never know, but Sir Harry was intertwined with the Duke of Windsor (King Edward VIII), Swedish industrialist and richest man in the world Axel Wenner-Gren who was also tightly tied to Adolf Hitler, the head of General Motors, Alcoa Aluminum and many others who were making money hand over fist in the war and not always honestly.
