We had listed Captain EDWARD L. BEACH (1163-LIFE-1998) as Skipper of USS TRIGGER which is perhaps a bit misleading. He was XO on USS TRIGGER (SS 237) during the war, but was Skipper of USS TRIGGER (SS 564) as well as several submarines post-war. He has a special place in his heart and memory for the 237 boat, which was lost in combat. We regret any confusion.
