Thanks to some old files left to us by Captain ROBERT THEW (333-+-1987) and additional information from MARCIN JEDRZEJEWSKI (4477-1995), we list the largest ships sunk by U-boats in World War II. The 15th largest ship sunk was the 20,000 ton VICEROY OF INDIA, a liner/troopship. She was sunk by U-407 under Kapitänleutnant Ernst-Ulrich Bruller on 11 November 1942.
