As you probably know, the US Postal Service is trying to raise the cost of a First Class stamp to 37 cents; another instance of solving problems by throwing money - your money - at it. Every time the cost of a First Class stamp goes up, the 3rd Class (your KTB Magazine) usually goes up several times.

Just this year, the cost of mailing your KTB out of the USA has gone from $1.87 each to about $4.40 each time! That would be a lot like a Chevrolet that cost $25,000 at the beginning of this year that suddenly cost $62,500 by mid-year! Hell of a rip off!!!

It is unfortunate that the people at the top of the Post Office can’t figure out how to run this outfit efficiently. The only times we have been forced to raise Membership dues is after several rate increases by the Post Office - that’s the only reason.
