During our ‘Patrol in North Germany’ when our group was at the German Navy Memorial and U-995 in Laboe outside Kiel, this fellow showed up with his wife. He said that he was a friend of one of our Members, a U-boat Skipper, so naturally we invited them to join us and enjoy our fellowship. They did join us and appeared to have a great time, mixing and talking with our Members & U-bootfahrer - but he was not what he appeared to be.

First, he was NOT a friend of this U-boat Skipper as he had said. Then, for whatever reason, he sent e-mails around the Internet in which he had terrible things to say about SHARKHUNTERS in general and he used very crude and vulgar terms to describe HARRY COOPER in particular - all of which were false. He had many bad things to say about our KTB Magazine and insinuated that the U-bootfahrer were stupid to be associated with SHARKHUNTERS. Then he sent a nice e-mail here to our HQ to say what a wonderful time he had with us! Can you believe it?

We have warned our U-bootfahrer friends about this man and some have already communicated with us that they know he is a - well, you fill in the blanks but they want nothing to do with him. You make your own decisions if you wish to communicate with him, but after saying that he was a friend of our Member (a U-boat Skipper) when he really was not, then enjoying our fellowship and sending these slanderous messages around the Internet - would you want to? I sure wouldn’t.
