H. MICHAEL WEBER (3239-1993) sent a nice letter: 'I can tell you that I look forward to KTB every issue. It brings back memories and new information that is always interesting. Sometimes I hear unfavorable information about our organization but my feelings go along with us. There is bad talk about everybody that tries to accomplish anything in this day and age." MIKE, you are absolutely correct and these bad comments are from small minded people who are just plain jealous. We ignore them because we have so many really great Members. Thanks! SERGIO GONZALEZ (4912-1996) writes this about our KTB: .....grateful Surprise, being sincere. In these days, most magazines have become purely a mechanical issue. Thanks SERGIO. We work very hard to keep our KTB Magazine very personal and not mechanical. Okay, we are all familiar with this fellow who forged autographs and otherwise sold 'snake oil' to unsuspecting pilgrims, but he is dead and, according to a story if KTB #154 last month, received a rather unpleasant send-off to the great beyond. Now we received a letter from VICTOR KOVACH (544-1988) which reads:
VICTOR goes on to write:
VIC (and any other Members) worried about U-505, I suggest you write to Mayor Richard M. Daley with your concerns. As you see, the address is in this KTB, a few pages back. As we already said, we will now stop the letters, e-mails, FAXes etc. regarding to Phase I of this situation, that of rude personnel and guides who try to do a good job, but aren't giving correct information during their tours of this famous submarine even though we offered to help the Museum set up a correct tour speech. When we next read about U-505 and the Museum, we will talk about the appalling lack of security there. It will shock you. TOM CROWN (5168-1997) wrote: "I just wanted to let you know how much I enjoy reading SHARKHUNTERS Magazine. I've learned more about the brave members of Germany's U-Boat service from the interesting articles in SHARKHUNTERS than I could glean from any books." WWII artilleryman GERD DIETRICH (5923-LIFE-1999)
wrote. This came from STEPHEN POWELL (1414-LIFE-
1990):
Some years ago, DAN SIMON (5000-

To all our Members who write these wonderful letters; Thanks! It makes all the hard work (12 hours per day, 6 days a week) worth it to know that we are doing what our Members want us to do.
