The President's Corner

Slow Mail

by Harry Cooper

Slow Mail

Over the past couple months, we have been rather slow to answer letters and we apologize for that. We try to answer all e-mails the day they come in, but the normal operations of the office including answering letters, has gotten kind of slow.

We have been without a secretary for a little while. She left rather suddenly -- something about a fight with her husband and stabbing him. I guess the law frowns on that, even here in the backwoods of Florida. So, for the time being, we have no replacement and that means we are a little slow in answering mail. We are pleased however, that we are getting our KTB Magazines out on time so I guess for every negative, there is a positive. Thanks for your understanding - we will not attempt to find another secretary until after I return from both our "Patrols' in Germany and Austria."

BBC Praise

The BBC considers SHARKHUNTERS to be:

“The most respected and the most authoritative source in the world for German U-Boat history.”
--per BBC reporter Graham Pound; November 1996
