Marinequadrant, Medda, Mehrfach

Helping Members to better understand some of the naval terms (both German and English) used in World War II and in our KTB.

Marinequadrant It means Naval Square, which is that famous chart showing positions such as EG4523

Medda This was similar to the Rotterdam radar which operated on the 3cm band. The first set captured by the Germans was recovered from a shot down Royal Air Force plane near Meddo in Holland.

Mehrfach Multiple launch (not necessarily simultaneously) of torpedoes.
