He has dived U-853, U-352 and U-8S off the American east coast and also the U-boat tender BLACKWATCH in Harstad, Norway. He has also dived USS BASS and S-45. BERNIE wrote a book entitled `The Last Dive' which focuses on Chris and Chrisy Rouse, the father and son who died diving on U-869 in 1992.
