by Dick Cole
Author: Preston, Anthony Hardbound edition published by Dutton, London in 1978, containing 192 pages, 244 photographs. Coverage of U-boats in both world wars is included in this oversized book. The text provides no new information, and most of the World War II photographs are commonly seen elsewhere. Some Members have asked why we at SHARKHUNTERS HQ do not do these book reviews ourselves. Most of the authors of good books on U-boats are Members and SHARKHUNTERS has helped many of them with their research. It would not be proper for us to review a book that we helped the author to write.
