Retired FBI; wants to solve the world's most perfect
murder; that of Sir Harry Oakes in the Bahamas. An
attempt was made to frame the son-in-law of Sir
Harry, Count ALFRED deMARIGNY (2172-
1992) for the crime, but it did not work. A made-
for-TV movie named PASSION & PARADISE was
made about this killing - the producer was RICOU
BROWNING (60-1984) who began his career as the
guy in the fish suit in the movie 'CREATURE
FROM THE BLACK LAGOON' and who produced
such early TV hits as FLIPPER and the Mike
Nelson diver series SEA HUNT. Much of the
camera work in PASSION was done by JOHN
McLAUGHLIN (138-1985). PAT wants to solve
this crime that occurred in June 1944 in Nassau and
had the appearance of a contract 'hit' with evidence
that points in the direction of the British Crown.
