This Flotilla was initially based in Pillau (now called Baltysk) in the eastern Gulf of Danzig until almost the last moments of the war, when it was moved to Wesertntinde.
Flottillen Chef of the 26th were:
- K. K. von Stockhausen from April 1941 to January 1943;
KARL-FRIEDRICH MERTEN (23-+-1984) until April 1943;
FK Brummer-Patzig and KK Jasper
