‘BEN’ DREW was a P-51 MUSTANG pilot in WW II and he made history several times. When the very first ever jet fighters (Me 262 aircraft) took off on an operational mission, BEN shot down the first two to ever take the skies for a combat patrol. He is the only man in history to shoot down two jet fighters in one action while flying a propeller-driven fighter. Some weeks later, while flying over a lake in Germany, he spotted the huge BF 238 ‘GOLIATH’ flying boat that had just finished her trials. Kicking his MUSTANG over, BEN came back and with his two wingmen, set the largest operational seaplane ever built (to that time) afire and the plane was destroyed.
