A new Luftwaffe Museum has opened in the Berlin/Spandau area on an aerodrome formerly used by the Royal Air Force before the reunification of Germany. It is now called the STEINHOFF AERODROME in honor of General JOHANNES STEINHOFF (2855-+-1993 and EH). CHARLES EVERETT (2187-1992) has seen these aircraft at the Museum:
Me 163 KOMET rocket powered fighter F-104 STARFIGHTER B-57 CANBERRA in Luftwaffe markings German 88mm FlAK German Opel BLITZ truck MIG 21 of the former DDR MIG 27 of the former DDR MIG 23 of the former DDR IL 28 bomber of the former DDR HIND helicopter of the former DDR HIP and HOUND helicopters, former DDR It appears that these items are being added:
