A new Luftwaffe Museum has opened in the Berlin/Spandau area on an aerodrome formerly used by the Royal Air Force before the reunification of Germany. It is now called the STEINHOFF AERODROME in honor of General JOHANNES STEINHOFF (2855-+-1993 and EH). CHARLES EVERETT (2187-1992) has seen these aircraft at the Museum:

    Bf 109 Messerschmitt fighter
Me 163 KOMET rocket powered fighter
    F-104 STARFIGHTER
    B-57 CANBERRA in Luftwaffe markings
    German 88mm FlAK
    German Opel BLITZ truck
MIG 21 of the former DDR
MIG 27 of the former DDR
MIG 23 of the former DDR
IL 28 bomber of the former DDR
HIND helicopter of the former DDR
HIP and HOUND helicopters, former DDR

It appears that these items are being added:

    NIKE-HERCULES missile battery
    F-100 SUPER-SABER
